Independence Day..A Salute To The Country.

I've been noticing since so many years a different morning on this day, a morning with soothing colors and light that passionate us to do something for our country, to do something for society.
Everyone comes in very traditional attire "Kurta Pajama" "Saree", looks like a typical Indian. One chief guest comes along with other guests, then on a particular time flag hosting happens by the hand of chief guest. and everyone present in the premises feels obliged being a part of it. Then few programs get started with speech of chief guest, then few people express their feelings and emotions in the form of speech, patriotic songs and poems. Then all time favorite 'Boondi Ke Laddoo' get distributed, and then all return to their respective nests.

But one very disturbing question always shakes my mind and that is " Are we really independent human beings??"
Does being independent mean just being free from outer buckles, or overcoming inside Negativity?
My own conscience says getting independence means just overpowering the all negative thoughts of mind, hating the hate, simply converting hate in love.
Why and how did India get independence? What then Gandhi had in his mind?
Just one thought " One day we will also become independent", "India will be an independent country". This positive thought must have given all fighters energy to fight, to stand against dependency. Similarly we also have many negativity around us, negative thought for the neighborhood, for the society, for the country and at last for Ourselves. We will be called independent if and only if we get rid of ourselves from such negative thoughts. We have to come together to make it possible.
It is something like the childhood game in which we used to join numbers from 1 to 24 or 25 or etc and after the completion a very beautiful picture used to come up.
Similarly for the beautiful future and for the beautiful picture of the country we have to join our hands against all negativity and hatred.

Vande Matram..
